caught on tape, some on the right said there was an amen moment and they were happy governor romney said it. now he says that the remarks were wrong. where do you stand? do you believe him now, or were you one of the ones that applauded the initial comment? >> i think you got to give him credit. he owned up to it and he apologized for it and took it back. i think he's right when you're on the campaign and making literally thousands of stops over the course of 18 months and two years, by the rule of statistics you say stuff that is wrong. look at what obama said in 2008 when he said people clinged to their guns and religious. that was offensive to tens of millions aacross the country. he tried to take it back. you have to give romney some credit for owning up to it and taking it back. >> some of the analysis is he admitted these remarks are wrong because he needs to move away from the far right. there were people like eric erickson who said that these remarks, the initial remarks were spot-on. he's completely moved aawway fr the remarks saying they were not just inartful but wrong. my spe
